  1. Thanks for the wonderful post. My parents are thanked at the end of the song: Dolores and Bill Perkins.
    Dolores worked with Dave at WKMF in the 70's.
    The song is a powerful memorial to the people who were so brave in that long ago time. Where would we all be without their courage?

  2. Thanks so much for the post. Both of my grandfathers were in the sitdown strike and, of course, the stories were the stuff of considerable family lore (as was the case for many other families, especially those who, in the long run, benefited by the strike).

  3. Is there any way to find out if someone worked at that plant during the strike? I think I have a relative that did, but I don't have any proof.
