Thanks for commenting. I moderate comments, so it may take a while for your comment to appear. You might enjoy my book about Flint called "Teardown: Memoir of a Vanishing City," a Michigan Notable Book for 2014 and a finalist for the 33rd Annual Northern California Book Award for Creative NonFiction. Filmmaker Michael Moore described Teardown as "a brilliant chronicle of the Mad Maxization of a once-great American city." More information about Teardown is available at www.teardownbook.com.

I mean this constructively with no malice whatsoever...don't walk and shoot at the same time unless you have a steadicam or are attempting some sort of Blair Witch Project effect. And don't swing the camera quickly from side to side. Let the viewers take in the images.
ReplyDeleteI liked it, memories of home.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I hope it was a Sunday morning or evening because otherwise there were absolutely no people in sight...sad.
ReplyDeleteHi Reginald,
ReplyDeleteGood job with the video, you will certainly become technically better and better if you do much of this. Your friendly attitude made the video worth watching. I am curious, where do you live in Alaska and what do you do for a living?
I liked it too. :)
ReplyDeleteI had Reggie as a student at UM - Flint and it's really nice to see him again. What's he doing in Alaska? He was a good writer, and I used to see him walking back and forth from campus.
