I used to live down the street from the market back in 1972. Even bought groceries a time or two when I had some money after rent (good thing I got one meal a day at work). Last week we drove by the 76 station which isn't too far from my mom's house. I told hubby it's too bad that place isn't in a better location because it would make a wonderful yarn shop or even a rubber stamping store. I am a big fan of architecture and that style is almost gone now (except in small town Iowa).
ReplyDeleteI used to think 76 went out of business everywhere, until I actually went somewhere and realized they are all over the place.
