Flint Photos: Dort Highway in 1948 Flood

  1. I assume this is the northern overpass by Groveland Avenue, carrying the north-south main line, Pere Marquette then, C&O later?

The angle seems to be wrong for the overpass between Court and I-69 carrying the GTW.

  3. Yes, that definitely looks to be the train trestle over Dort highway, near Groveland Ave. I remember, whenever it would flood, all of us in the neighborhood would go down there, to check it out!
