Then they closed Tarrytown, sent him to Lordstown, fortunately he was able to retire a while back. "At least we don't have to move this time." That area never recovered when the steel mills left, got hit again by Delphi (formerly Packard Electric) during the 2009 bankruptcy, and the recent cutting of 2nd and 3rd shifts at the car plant sent all those people to fill up the remaining low-wage service industry and retail jobs.
