Stratton Shufelt and Les Barnett at WMRP, the Methodist Radio Parish. The station was first in a basement on Mary Street, then built a studio addition onto the transmitter building on Lapeer Road just off of Dort Highway. Ownership, call letters and formats have changed many times and FM was added sometime after I left in '55. I don't know what station operates from that building now.
