The Hurands lived off east court in the sixties. That kind of behavior wasn't his style and he was to busy to kick his dog anyway. He had to keep up with DoughBoy Donuts, Buttercup Bakeries and Down Doughnuts all at the same time. I watched him sweep his parking lot at his S. Saginaw store more than once He was another Flint business success story. I believe he hung up the pastry business in the late seventies.
