About Me
- Gordon Young
- I'm a San Francisco-based freelance journalist. My work has appeared in The New York Times, Slate, Utne Reader, the San Jose Mercury News and an unfortunately named publication called Beer: The Magazine. I grew up in Flint, Michigan, attending St. Mike's and St. Mary's grade schools before graduating from Powers High School.

Don't recall these cards... but maybe I wasn't that important a client. My best memory of the Copa is $5 at the door and 25 cent beers once you got in. :)
I think I may still have one or two...they kept them by the front door next to a jar full of Dum-Dums.
I utilized this juxtaposition as a conversation starter in more than one occasion.
