  1. This young fellow from Flint is grinding up the opposition every week. A hundred or more yards about every game, and a bunch of touchdowns. He has more years to improve on his record pace if he stays healthy. A great attitude along with humility which is rare among college stars today. The Heisman, this early in a career usually isn't a consideration. He's going to be a household word with sports buffs come January, and I dearly hope he can hold it together. Major pressure from the notoriety somewhere down the line will be an issue, I'm sure. He comes from a family of athletic accomplishment. I remember his Grandpa from my era, I know where he gets the great attitude from.....unclebuck

  3. Up date and a few more stats. Mark Ingram added three more touchdowns and 113 more yards when Alabama whipped the Florida Gators 32 to 13 this past Saturday to win the SEC and take the number one spot in NCAA football. He ain't done yet. In January he may set another record or two on his way to a National Championship and maybe the Heisman Trophy too. Go get em Mark...

  5. It all came together. This old guy isn't one bit surprised. Kind of felt it in my bones early on. I'm really proud for his family. Art and Dad did a fine job bringing him along.

  6. Alabama took it to Texas at the Rose Bowl Jan.7th 2010 and won the NCAAFB Championship, 37-21. After a scary second half with Mark Ingram setting out awhile, the Tide got back on track. Mark "managed" to contribute 2 touchdowns and 119 yards rushing. What a nice way to start the new year off. For Flintoids too.
