Filmmaker Michael Moore described Teardown as "a brilliant chronicle of the Mad Maxization of a once-great American city." More information about Teardown is available at www.teardownbook.com.

I think that Frank's went wrong when they changed from "Frank's Nursery & Trim" to "Frank's Nursery & Crafts". I grew up a stones throw away from there, on Wisner St. I remember shopping for Christmas trees there in the 1960's. Thanks for the memory, Gordon.
ReplyDeleteI was born and raised in Flint and worked at this Frank's Nursery from 1972 to 1975. Started out part time and then became a Manager Trainee before enlisting in the Air Force. Worked with great people and truly made great memories.
