Flint Photos: Frank's Nursery on Clio Road (Closed)

A popular neighborhood joke in the seventies: Yo mama so dumb she thought Frank's Nursery was a daycare center for hotdogs.

  1. I think that Frank's went wrong when they changed from "Frank's Nursery & Trim" to "Frank's Nursery & Crafts". I grew up a stones throw away from there, on Wisner St. I remember shopping for Christmas trees there in the 1960's. Thanks for the memory, Gordon.

    1. I was born and raised in Flint and worked at this Frank's Nursery from 1972 to 1975. Started out part time and then became a Manager Trainee before enlisting in the Air Force. Worked with great people and truly made great memories.
