  1. I love this thing. Where can I get one?

  2. I spotted this on eBay after searching for "Flint Michigan." Not sure if it's still up or not. I wouldn't mind having one myself.

  3. Jimmie Goodwin was my Grandfather. Spent my early years (50's and 60's) as a small boy at the Tire Mart with my Dad and his father. I have one of these ash trays as a momento.

  4. Tom, thanks for the comment. I remember driving by the tire shop many times. And that ashtray is the greatest business promotion items I've ever seen. Feel free to chime in with any thoughts or memories of the shop.

  5. Hot Cocoa and donuts after the Citizens Bank Christmas Sing … The smell of new tires stakes me right back there!

Filmmaker Michael Moore described Teardown as "a brilliant chronicle of the Mad Maxization of a once-great American city." More information about Teardown is available at www.teardownbook.com.
