San Francisco Time Warp

One of the great things about San Francisco, especially if you're a Gen X'er, is the ability to go back to scenes from your childhood on a regular basis. It's not 2012 at this particular spot in Bernal Heights. It's the mid-seventies.

Provided you embrace the spirit of a few of the bumper stickers and not the specifics.

  1. You know I'm a conservative who normally votes Republican but I gotta say I love whoever owns this car! He (or should I be politically correct and say he or she) is fitting every stereotype of a hippie by living in Frisco and being a documented peacenik with all those bumper stickers. I bet he even wears fringed shirts with beads. Although if I met him in person I would scold him for driving a car that's killing the earth man!
