Filmmaker Michael Moore described Teardown as "a brilliant chronicle of the Mad Maxization of a once-great American city." More information about Teardown is available at www.teardownbook.com.

It looks like the park in front of the Durant, Northbank Center, and Hamilton Dam are the only things that are still there. Everything else has been torn out and replaced with something new. It's interesting to see that what is now just a walking bridge over the river on the U-M campus used to be a main thoroughfare.
