  1. I'd eat there after working Sears. at least until Dancing Dan in the Pooh suit got us fired. HEY GY! any stuff of Yours break today in the shakes? Hope not. Downside of living in San Fran, and most all the coast, ain't it?

  2. I didn't even know there was an earthquake. There's a reason San Francisco's unofficial city motto is..."San Francisco: 49 square miles surrounded on all sides by reality."

  4. reports here said 5.1, and it was north of Y'All. Glad it was, too. Got an old Friend over in Berkley...She's from Birmingham, but I don't hold it against Her.

  5. Hey, it works for Ann Arbor and SF. Probabaly Berkeley, too. Although I've heard that A Squared has gotten more bedroom community-ish over the years, but I'm still bitter about Drake's closing.

You might enjoy my book about Flint called "Teardown: Memoir of a Vanishing City," a Michigan Notable Book for 2014 and a finalist for the 33rd Annual Northern California Book Award for Creative NonFiction. Filmmaker Michael Moore described Teardown as "a brilliant chronicle of the Mad Maxization of a once-great American city." More information about Teardown is available at www.teardownbook.com.
