Hamilton Avenue Bridge

Okay, I'm clearly obsessed with these idyllic images of the Flint River that don't look like the Flint River I remember. Here's an undated postcard of the Hamilton Avenue Bridge I drove across on my way to St. Mary's for school. And trust me, it did not look like this good in the seventies.

I also had to put something up so Dick Cheney would no longer be the lead post. I think he was driving away readers.

Filmmaker Michael Moore described Teardown as "a brilliant chronicle of the Mad Maxization of a once-great American city." More information about Teardown is available at www.teardownbook.com.
