Note to Readers

Blogger does not allow me to edit comments from readers. All I can do is accept them or reject them.

So, unfortunately,
on rare occasions, I have to reject a comment for various reasons. And I hate rejecting comments, especially from readers who are clearly smarter and more insightful than I am.

I also have no way of emailing readers via Blogger to explain why I had to reject their comments.

So if you've had something rejected, please contact me via the email listed in the "About Me" section in the right-hand column under my ridiculous photo. (Why am I wearing a plaid ascot? Seemed like a good idea at the time. ) That way I can explain the problem and work out a solution.

  1. tried writing w/that 3x;s. did not go thru. don't believe the comment on being blue was that racial. and I never claimed that I was smarter than you, so why the jibe, if it was one and I'm not interpreting it wrong.

  2. bustup, it wasn't meant to be a jibe...I was just trying to be funny. It was nothing specific to your comments. I think I may have rejected that particular comment accidentally. You and smurfs inc and slick are my greatest commentors.

No idea why I'm not getting the emails. Try sending me something to this email:

Thanks for commenting. I moderate comments, so it may take a while for your comment to appear. You might enjoy my book about Flint called "Teardown: Memoir of a Vanishing City," a Michigan Notable Book for 2014 and a finalist for the 33rd Annual Northern California Book Award for Creative NonFiction. Filmmaker Michael Moore described Teardown as "a brilliant chronicle of the Mad Maxization of a once-great American city." More information about Teardown is available at www.teardownbook.com.
