Filmmaker Michael Moore described Teardown as "a brilliant chronicle of the Mad Maxization of a once-great American city." More information about Teardown is available at www.teardownbook.com.

I bet no one can top Carman's prom of '84. I think it was at a Grand Blanc Golf club or something.
ReplyDeleteThree bomb threats were called in (by a disgruntled student) during the evening, requiring us to retire into golf carts while they checked the building.
The band was so bad, they played Prince's 1999 song as a slow song.
I had come from a proud no-prom heritage, so when I was asked, I was sort of bummed that I had broken the chain.
I was thankful for the evening to be over... and I think I told my date I had a curfew when I didn't.
wap-WAHHHH.... ;p
