Hot Housing Trend

While Flint tries to figure out how to get rid of unwanted houses, Shantytowns are popping up all over.

  1. Very Interesting. The photo-essay was pretty revealing along with the comment that some of them were tired of the attention. It might just be the writer's slant, but I was struck by the pragmatic nature of the people highlighted. That said, I bet alot of them would rather live in a Cali 'hoovervile' than and abandoned Flint 'home'.

  2. Yeah, I'm guessing that an actual job is probably more likely in the West rather than Flint in the near future.
