Mini McMansion

If you think a nine-square-foot house is a bit extreme, why not upgrade to a whopping 100 square feet?

  1. I saw these written up in Cottage Living. I could see wanting this if I were 20 something or younger. I'm all for the not-so-big-house and the boat type living (especially built-ins), but I've lived with a loft that small before... been there, done that. Still I suppose if as a parent, you wanted to buy your kids a house, well, there you go. :)

  2. Me like, me like.

I would suggest burrowing into the website and see the stationary houses they have - nicely designed and small to boot.

  3. Cute, but I bet you could buy a mansion in Flint for less. I know that's not the point, but still...

Thanks for commenting. I moderate comments, so it may take a while for your comment to appear. You might enjoy my book about Flint called "Teardown: Memoir of a Vanishing City," a Michigan Notable Book for 2014 and a finalist for the 33rd Annual Northern California Book Award for Creative NonFiction. Filmmaker Michael Moore described Teardown as "a brilliant chronicle of the Mad Maxization of a once-great American city." More information about Teardown is available at www.teardownbook.com.
