The Past Meets the Future

There has to be some deeper meaning in this shot. An MTA bus idles outside the Durant-Dort Carriage Company — the birthplace of General Motors.

A justifiably wary bus driver unused to tourists.

  1. penny for his thoughts :) anyone want to guess?

  2. "Please step away from the bus before I pepper spray you."

Actually, he was really friendly. We talked about the Dupont Street line, one of my favorite topics.

  3. "Aw, man - I left the Dupont Street line to get some peace, and here comes that kid again!" (tee hee hee, just kidding)

  4. Naaah, Redgirl -- that's a good one. No apologies required. As Shakespeare wrote, "the evil that teenagers do lives after them."
