Ron Pruitt and Baseball Fashion

It's a shame that Flint Central High's Ron Pruitt, who had a nice nine-year career in the majors, had to endure a uniform like this in the minors. But I guess there are worse things in life for a guy from Flint.

  1. A small price to pay to avoid working with Ben in the shop. And I always liked those we are family era Pirates hats.

  2. Played ball with his younger brother Randy on Longfellow's 1968 baseball team, which went undefeated. Good athlete too. Will try to dig up the team photo, and post it. Also played with him on Dr. Fairchilds "Angels". Another good team.

I'd forgotten those White Sox softball jerseys.Didn't they also wear shorts for some games?

  5. Stop ragging on Flint. Ron Pruitt was a good contact hitter and excellent QB as well. Brother Randy was my best friend in elementary school Marc Meiselbach San Francisco
