The Lonely Corvair

Waiting for the ferry in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island I spotted this lonely Corvair, marooned far from home.

You're far, far from your hometown and a good ways from even your town of residence. What's going on, on the island?

Just on a little trip with family and friends, trying to escape the 50 degree foggy "summer" weather in San Francisco.
